Niamh specialises in international arbitration and has experience in disputes involving construction, energy, joint ventures and post-M&A matters.
She has acted as counsel and arbitrator in cases under the ICC, VIAC, UNCITRAL, DIS and ad hoc rules.

- Representing a gas storage provider in three ICC proceedings arising out of disputes over price adjustments in long-term gas storage contracts.
- Advising a multinational electric utility company in a potential arbitration proceeding under the auspices of the ICC Rules against a gas transportation provider in relation to a request to terminate and/or modify a long-term gas transportation agreement.
- Acting for a concession company in ICC proceedings against a SEE State, arising out of a concession contract for the construction of a motorway.
- Representing an Austrian market leader in an UNCITRAL ad hoc proceedings against the Serbian public company for energy transmission and distribution. The dispute arose in connection with a contract for the construction of three power substations and the extension of one in the Serbian territory.
- Representing in ad hoc arbitration proceedings against minority shareholders after a squeeze-out (based on the Austrian Squeeze-out Act).
