About Irem Güzel

Irem is an associate in our Brussels office and a member of the People and Reward team.

Her practice covers all aspects of privacy and data protection law. She assists clients on GDPR, ePrivacy, artificial intelligence and privacy compliance matters, response to cybersecurity and personal data breaches, data protection risk and impact assessments, data processing agreements, international data transfers and data protection due diligence. She has experience in a wide range of industries, including automotive, telecommunications, cloud computing, digital platforms, transport, financial institutions and digital health.

Prior to joining the firm, she completed a traineeship at the European Data Protection Board and worked as an associate at another international law firm.

Irem speaks Dutch, English, French and Turkish.
