Caio specializes in infrastructure, project development and construction arbitration and dispute resoluton. He has acted as counsel in matters before the ICC, LCIA, CAM-CCBC and Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazilian mandatory arbitral institution for energy disputes), as well as in high-stakes dispute settlement negotiations covering many industry sectors including energy, oil and gas, real estate development, logistics and commercial distribution and representations. Caio has also advised in the structuring and negotiation of major projects in Brazil and Latin America involving energy generation and transmission, oil and gas, railways and highways, shipbuilding and hospitality.
In Brazil, Caio worked at a leading projects and infrastructure practice at one of Brazil’s top firms and did a secondment at an Italian energy state-owned energy company.
He is trained and admitted to practice law in Brazil. He is also ranked as a Future Leader by Who’s Who Legal in Construction Law since 2019.
