Recent M&A transactions:

• Advised China Merchants Capital and a Chinese state-owned investor on their indirect investments (through a consortium led by BlackRock) in a minority stake in Aramco Gas Pipelines Company, an entity with rights to 20-years of tariff payments for gas transported through Saudi Aramco’s gas pipeline network. The total amount of investment made by the consortium is US$15.5bn in exchange for 49 per cent equity stake in Aramco Gas Pipelines Company. This transaction marks one of the world’s largest energy infrastructure deals. 
• Advised Volkswagen on its RMB8 billion investments in Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group. The transaction is the biggest M&A deal in China’s electric vehicle sector to date, and also an important project under China's ‘mixed ownership’ reform of state-owned enterprises.
• Advised PayPal on its acquisition of 30% equity interest in GoPay. The transaction makes PayPal become the first foreign investor with 100% control of a payment platform in China.
• Advised CRCC International Investment on its acquisition of 75% equity interest in Aldesa Group, one of the largest construction groups in Spain and Mexico.
• Advised Allianz on its acquisition of 49% equity interest in Allianz China Life Insurance. The transaction makes Allianz China become the first life insurance company convered from a JV to a WFOE in China.
• Advised Great Wall Motor on its acquisition of Daimler's assets in Brazil.
• Advised Sinopec on its proposed acquisition of 100% equity interest in a renowned oil company in Australia.

• Advised Affinity Equity Partners on its US$360m minority investment in the Hong Kong listed Towngas China through subscription of ordinary shares and convertible bonds.
