About Filippo Alberti

Filippo is a Principal Associate in the “Antitrust, Competition and Trade” group in Rome, joined in 2016.

His practice focuses on various aspects of EU and Italian competition law, merger, antitrust compliance, anti-competitive agreements, cartel and dominance investigations, consumer law, foreign investment, regulatory affairs and litigation.

He regularly assists multinational clients in these areas, having experience across a wide range of sectors including media, telecom, energy, transports, automotive banking, insurance and manufacturing.

At the beginning of its professional career, he worked at public authorities (Italian Antitrust Authority and at Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission) and then in the major energy company in Italy, in a major European broadcaster and in another international law firm.

He graduated summa cum laude in law from the University of Genoa, and he also holds two II level international masters (at Università di Roma La Sapienza and Université Libre de Bruxelles).
