Law and Fintech: A Freshfields virtual experience
This programme, designed for all, is adapted from real Freshfields work.
Our (fictitious) client wants to buy a crypto asset business. You’ll help them, working through five modules that cover a Freshfields junior lawyer’s typical responsibilities, and offering multiple perspectives from different practices that reflect our full-service offering. The modules should each take around an hour to complete, but you can take as long as you want.
You’ll be given a score at the end and a certificate of completion signed by Cyrus Pocha. Please don’t take it too seriously, though; we won’t crosscheck your results if you choose to apply to Freshfields.
Launch into Law: explore a career in commercial law
Aimed at a slightly younger audience or those who have less experience of commercial law, our Launch into Law Virtual Experience Programme is a great way of getting to know what life as a Freshfields lawyer would be like and will give you practical experience of working with clients.
You’ll undertake five tasks covering scenarios a Freshfields junior solicitor might encounter, helping gain practical skills and experience.
The programme is introduced by Freshfields Partner Annette Byron. Complete the programme and you will get a certificate signed by Annette, which you can share on your social media and CV.
