Document Specialist Team

The Document Specialist team is responsible for producing high quality legal documentation as well as creative work to all staff in the firm (including fee earners), globally. They offer shift patterns so if you are looking to work flexibly to maybe work around your other personal commitments these roles may be of interest to you.

Creative Document Specialist (16.800€/ year)

Our Creative Document Specialists have a vital role to play; tasked with delivering outstanding client service and supporting the firm’s 27 network offices and seven legal practice groups worldwide. We’re looking for people who can demonstrate a keen eye for detail and meticulous attention to in-house brand.

Creative Document Specialist roles demand a high level of technical skill and creativity in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite. You will need the ability to learn quickly, multi-task effectively and meet strict deadlines and time pressures while maintaining quality of production and a high level of customer service.

This is an opportunity to improve your presentation, design and art-working skills, while providing exceptional support for our lawyers and local business services teams every day.

Key Requirements

  • Must have previous art-working and design experience in digital and print using both MS Office and Adobe CC. Must possess the confidence and motivation to challenge and improve the way that work is done.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced level of skill in MS PowerPoint
  • Intermediate level of skill in other MS Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Intermediate experience of creative packages in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise workload, work fast and accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Brand awareness with an ability to discuss and clarify briefs.
  • Experience of working in a high pressure, fast paced corporate environment.

Working alongside a team of document production specialists and creative specialists, you will utilise your advanced skills to support fast, accurate and enhanced document production through effective use of the appropriate tools and innovative technology adopted by the firm.

Key Requirements

Must have previous document production experience in a legal environment or advanced Microsoft Word skills in a document production role in other sectors. Must possess the confidence and motivation to challenge and improve the way that work is done.

Technical Skills

Document Admin Assistant ( 14.400 Euros per year )

This is an entry level role that offers an opportunity to join our Document Specialist team in the firm’s Shared Services Centre in Bratislava. The team delivers high quality, efficient and comprehensive document production service to our fee earners (lawyers) globally, with a focus on excellent customer service and continuous improvement.

Global Finance Team

The global Finance function ensures robust financial control across our global operations, whilst partnering with the firm as a valued commercial advisor, influencing strategic decision making and driving long term profitable growth for the firm

Accounts Payable Analyst – (16.800 €/ year)

This is a great opportunity for someone who is at the early stages of their career within finance. The primary purpose of the Accounts Payable Analyst role is to complete all allocated tasks and activities within the scope of the Accounts Payable team in the Shared Services Centres to pre-agreed service levels.

Billing Analyst – (16.800 €/ year)

The Billing Analyst will work with finance colleagues globally to prepare and process client bills for the firm ensuring that invoices are sent out efficiently and on a timely basis. The team work closely with commercial finance to manage working capital and form an important part of the larger Finance function.

This is a role which will involve working as part of a large global Billing team, split across the firm’s shared services centres. We are looking for a flexible team player who thrives in a very busy working environment. The role demands a sharp eye for detail, a good head for figures and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Key Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent numeracy skills – (should be confident with numbers and able to reconcile)
  • Flexibility – able to work non-standard hours, sometimes at short notice
  • Experience of working within a of Global Shared Services environment
  • Previous experience in a billing environment and knowledge of billing systems

Marketing & Business Development Team

MBD is a dynamic global team which includes business development specialists, research analysts, brand, marketing and communications experts. By working collaboratively, our team shapes the firm’s client strategy, completes analysis of complex business issues, targets opportunities, develops compelling proposals and creates content and marketing campaigns that lead our digital presence. Together, we define the client experience and shape the perception of Freshfields around the globe.

Global Experience Management Data Operator - (18,000 €/year)

This individual is responsible for updating the experience management system (Foundation) to ensure that data quality is maintained, working closely with other members of the global experience management team. It is a varied role requiring excellent teamworking and communication skills and strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues in the global MBD team, Knowledge team and stakeholders across the firm. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for their first role after University.

Key Requirements

  • Educated to degree level
  • Excellent communication skills - written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to grammar, proof-reading and data validation.
  • Professional and client service oriented; confident, self-motivated and resilient.

Global CRM Data Operator - (18,000 €/year)

The individual is responsible for updating the CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure that data quality is maintained and also liaising with other members of the Global CRM team to build marketing lists and support the delivery of global business development campaigns. It is a varied role requiring good teamworking and communication skills and strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues in the global MBD team and stakeholders across the firm. It is a great first role for someone just leaving University.

Key Requirements

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to grammar, proof-reading and checking of data.
  • Professional and client service oriented; confident and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work flexibly and to tight timelines.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and a proven track record of delivering against objectives.

HR Operations

HR Assistant (18,000 Euros per year )

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the HR Assistant operates as the ‘front line contact’ of the HR Services team and is the first point of contact for all HR related queries from the business. With additional guidance and support from the Senior HR Assistants, they are responsible for the provision of administrative support, covering all aspects of the employment lifecycle. It’s a great first step into a career in Human Resources.

Key Requirements

  • Customer service experience within a professional or commercial environment
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to build working relationships with a range of people at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and with a high attention to detail
