Pro bono work
Many of our lawyers give their time to provide legal advice for those who could not otherwise afford it, such as assisting in a death row defense before the Florida Supreme Court.
Through our relationship with Lawyers Alliance for New York, we help to provide low cost business law services to non-profit and community development organizations in New York City. Volunteer attorneys from the office also run seminars and provide legal assistance for the Rikers Island Project, an organization that helps incarcerated mothers understand their rights and responsibilities.
Attorneys from our Washington DC office provide voluntary support and handle pro bono for two projects concerned with children at risk: Lawyers for Children of America and the Children's Law Center.
US-qualified lawyers in London have been able to assist with pro bono work as well. Currently, a group of volunteers provide advice to the William J Clinton Foundation on an HIV/AIDS initiative with its main funder, UNITAID, in connection with contracts to provide medications in Africa.
"This unified team culture has been crucial to my personal success..."
