Applications for training contracts should be made at least two years before the entry date you are seeking, although the earliest we can accept applications from undergraduates is the summer before their final year.
We are currently recruiting for our August 2011 and February 2012 intakes. The deadline is 31 July 2009. If you are interested in an earlier start date, please let us know. We do occasionally have availability for earlier intakes.
If we offer you an interview, we will ask you to get in touch in order to arrange a convenient time. Interviews are held in our London offices. There are two interviews preceded by a written exercise (for which no legal knowledge is required). After the interview you will be met by one of our trainees who will give you a tour of the offices. The selection procedure will last approximately four hours. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed from within the UK. If you are travelling from outside the UK, please ring us to discuss.
We aim to let you know within a week to ten days of your interview whether or not we can offer you a training contract. If you haven't spent time as a vacation visitor with us, we will offer you the chance to spend a day here, in order to help you make up your mind.
