We believe in people bringing something different to the firm, so we don’t look for any set type. Trainees come to us from all kinds of backgrounds, with varying skills and experiences. What all our trainees have in common is their potential to be great lawyers.
There are certain qualities we’re looking for. We want people with energy and drive, who think creatively about their work. We need achievers who relish new challenges and complex problems; people who are intellectually strong, remain calm under pressure and, of course, who have a real interest in the commercial world.
It’s also vital that we enjoy working with each other – so openness, enthusiasm and consideration for others are essential qualities.
