Online recruitment privacy policy

If you apply for a position online you will need to provide personal data about yourself, some of which might be sensitive.

The firm will process any information you provide in accordance with the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and any relevant national legislation. The firm will process this data for the purpose of this (or any future) application and, if you are successful, your future employment, and to allow us to carry out the monitoring activities required of us as an equal opportunities employer. If your application is unsuccessful, the firm will retain your information for no longer than is necessary.

We will not use your information for any direct marketing.

We may, for the above-mentioned purposes, transfer any of your information overseas to any office of the firm or any of our affiliates. Some of the firm’s offices and those of our affiliates are located in countries outside the European Economic Area which do not have well developed data protection legislation when compared to European law. However, for the processing of your data the firm will at all times ensure a data protection level equal to the one in the European Economic Area.

We use session cookies only in the online form for recruitment in France.  These are small files that are stored by your computer only for the duration of your visit and are used, for example, to verify your username and password when you access the online application section of the website, to remember for the duration of your visit that you are authorised to use that restricted area, and to enable you to save a draft of your online application for later.  These cookies do not retrieve information about you stored on your hard drive and do not corrupt or damage your computer or computer files.  For more information about cookies, including how to set your internet browser to reject cookies, please go to www.allaboutcookies.org.

While no data transmission over the internet is 100 per cent secure, the security of our system is very important to us. We seek to ensure that up-to-date data storage and security techniques are used to protect your information. All our employees and any third parties we engage to process your information are also obliged to respect the confidentiality of your information.

In accordance with the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and relevant national legislation, the firm has a legal obligation to ensure that your information is kept accurate and up to date. Please assist us to comply with this obligation by ensuring that you inform us of any changes to your information.
