Antitrust, competition and trade
Sebastian Pritzkow joined the firm in 2011. He is specialized in European and German competition law as well as in energy law.
Sebastian has given advice in various merger control and cartel cases. He is frequently involved in energy-related M&A transactions. Furthermore, Sebastian frequently advises on competition law issues in commercial arbitrations. While on secondment at a major German energy supply company, he accompanied major arbitrations from an in-house position.
Sebastian has gained valuable experience across a broad range of industries. He is particularly familiar with the energy sector and the automotive sector.
Sebastian is a member of our General Industries Sector Group as well as of our Energy and Infrastructure Sector Group. He is also a member of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) and the German Association on East European Studies (DGO).
Qualifications and education
Sebastian Pritzkow completed his legal education at the universities of Cologne (Germany), Paris (France) and Lausanne (Switzerland). He obtained the degrees Maître en droit and Master of Laws (LLM) from the universities of Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Cologne. He also holds a doctor of laws (Dr iur) degree from the University of Cologne.
Sebastian was admitted to the German bar in 2011. He is a member of the Cologne Bar Association (Rechtsanwaltskammer Köln).
