William is a commercial litigator with extensive experience in competition litigation and investigations work. His work also involves a substantial regulatory practice. He has a particular expertise in IP-related issues and EU regulation and litigation.
Clients from a wide variety of sectors, including consumer products, food, tobacco, gambling, technology and transport, turn to William to unlock complex regulatory and commercial disputes. The majority of his work is multi-national, and he has coordinated litigation and regulatory strategies across North America, Africa, Europe and Asia.

Career to date
William worked for Sir David Edward, judge at the European Court of Justice, in Luxembourg, between 1995 and 1999.
William became a partner in 2002.
Qualifications and education
William is an English solicitor, entitled to practise in Hong Kong as a registered foreign lawyer.
William studied and then taught law at the University of Durham.
