Antitrust, competition and trade
Andrew has been a partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer since 1997. He has spent most of that time in the Brussels office as a member of our antitrust, competition and trade group. He has the cutting edge technical knowledge you would expect of a longstanding Freshfields antitrust specialist.
His particular strength is in protecting clients’ interests and facilitating the growth and productivity of their businesses. He gets his clients’ deals done.
Andrew has worked extensively for many years with competition regulators, and with the European Commission in particular. This has given him the insight and relationships to steer his clients’ causes through to a successful conclusion. Clients like his discreet, friendly manner, while knowing they can rely on his rigorous legal skills.
Andrew’s academic credentials are as strong as his client work and he sits on the scientific council of the Global Competition Law Centre and on the editorial board of the European Competition Journal.
