Since the first privatisations of incumbent telecoms operators, we have been closely involved in assisting telecoms companies across Europe and worldwide. We have advised fixed network operators, wireless broadband local loop operators, mobile operators, satellite operators and service providers.

Our team has wide experience of advising on transactional issues as well as on content regulation and liability. Our transactional work includes commercial contracts for infrastructure projects, roaming, interconnection and network outsourcing. We also deal with regulatory issues affecting infrastructure, tariff regulation, network access and developing telecoms regulatory regimes by governments. We advise on the antitrust aspects of strategic alliances, partnering and commercial agreements, and on conduct issues such as pricing and access.

Media

Our clients in the media sector include publishers, TV and radio broadcasters, cable TV providers and satellite TV operators, as well as content owners and new media companies. We have particular experience advising on cable and satellite distribution; online content; advertising; and the licensing of broadcast operators.

Technology

Our work in the technology sector includes advising on many of the most complex and high-profile IT projects worldwide, in both the public and private sectors.

We advise suppliers and customers, enabling us to understand the issues from both sides and giving us a strong basis from which to negotiate, implement and review agreements, and to advise on disputes.
