Hans-Joachim Prieß is a partner with significant public international law and international trade law experience. His practice focuses on European and international trade issues, including trade negotiations, trade remedies and WTO law. He has extensive experience of dealing with the EU and the Commission, including advising the Commission and the Council of Ministers on trade issues. He has also advised and represented governments in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America in their relations with the EU.
Hans-Joachim was an assistant professor at the Institute for International Law at Kiel University before obtaining a doctor of laws degree in public international law. He speaks English, French and German.
