Our recent experience includes acting for:

• a group of export credit guarantee agencies (including those of most G8 countries) on the public international law aspects of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline;
  
• Gaz de France and Ruhrgas on sovereign immunity and other issues connected with their acquisition of a major interest in the part-privatised Slovak gas transmission industry;
  
• Glencore International in relation to production sharing agreements entered into in relation to oil and gas projects in Equatorial Guinea;
  
• the government of Azerbaijan on its transboundary oil pipeline dispute with Georgia;
  
• PSG International and Shell on the status and use of the Caspian Sea and on the proposed construction of a TransCaspian Gas Pipeline;
  
• OPIC, EBRD and Japanese Eximbank on oil and gas project financing of operations on Sakhalin Island in the Russian Federation;
  
• EBRD on the public law aspects of a number of infrastructure projects in eastern and central Europe;
  
• OPIC on the international environmental and human rights law (including the application of International Labour Organisation conventions) in relation to a transboundary pipeline project in South America;
  
• the Bahrain National Oil Company on the public international law aspects of its exploration and production-sharing agreement with a major international oil company;
  
• the Korean Energy Development Organisation on the supply of heavy fuel oil and light water reactors to North Korea; and
  
• Chevron Texaco on international law issues relating to the West African Gas Pipeline project, including drafting the treaty giving effect to the intergovernmental agreement promoting the pipeline.
