International boundary and territorial disputes
Our recent experience includes acting for:
- the government of the state of Bahrain in the successful conduct of its land and maritime boundary dispute with Qatar, before the International Court of Justice;
- the government of Eritrea in its maritime boundary dispute with Yemen before an arbitral tribunal established under the auspices of the Permanent Court of Arbitration;
- the government of Brunei on potential disputes relating to the title of areas of the outer continental shelf in the South China Seas; and
- the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
on a boundary dispute between one of its borrowers and a
neighbouring state.
