We carry out a comprehensive range of property litigation work covering all varieties of landlord and tenant disputes as well as complex and often landmark cases. Our practice has grown both as a result of instructions from new clients and supporting the litigation needs of our established property client base. We act for landowners, developers, financial institutions and corporates.
Recent work includes acting for:
- Lincoln Financial Group in proceedings over the ownership
of its UK head office premises worth around £40m;
- P&O Property Holdings in its successful claim for specific performance of part of a £105m sale of a portfolio of shopping centres;
- a leading telecoms company over the acquisition and development of sites for its 3G network;
- Scottish Provident Institution in rectification and title dispute proceedings involving Prestige Properties and the chief land registrar;
- Barings Trust Company in proceedings against the City
Corporation and the London Borough of Islington;
- Scottish Widows in Court of Appeal proceedings concerning lease break provisions;
