The US-based members of our international arbitration group represent national and international corporations, financial institutions and governments in major arbitrations around the world under the UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, AAA and ICSID rules. In particular, the team is the world leader in arbitrations involving Latin America, handles most of the world's largest energy disputes and is an integral part of the firm's preeminent investment treaty practice. The arbitration team also complements our finance and corporate work, advising on the drafting of dispute resolution clauses and handling controversies that arise.

The firm's preeminence in the field of international commercial arbitration is acknowledged worldwide, and we are globally renowned for our unrivalled track record of conducting ICC, LCIA, ICSID, AAA and ad hoc international arbitrations in the US, established European venues and elsewhere. The group is a recognized leader in the high-profile and innovative field of investment treaty arbitration under both the ICSID and UNCITRAL rules. In particular, we have extensive experience working with corporations in the energy, telecommunications and construction sectors and in disputes involving Latin American investments. The group also enhances many other areas of our practice, including our corporate and project finance practices, with advice on the drafting of protective resolution clauses and responding to US terrorist and other economic sanctions legislation, for example.
