Neil Radford qualified as a lawyer at the firm in 1985 and has been a partner since 1998. In 2005-2007 he was based in the firm’s Shanghai office.

Neil was educated at Trinity College, Oxford. He speaks English, French and German.

His work has included:

  • the dual listed merger of RTZ and CRA to form Rio Tinto plc/Ltd;
  • the dual listed merger of Brambles Ltd and the logistics business of GKN plc;
  • the acquisition by Xstrata of Glencore’s coal assets in South Africa and Australia and flotation of Xstrata plc on the London Stock Exchange;
  • the sale of IPC magazines by Reed Elsevier; and
  • the flotation of Vedanta Resources plc on the London Stock Exchange.
