Recent major transactions in the private equity field include the take-private offers for McKechnie plc and for Rebus plc, the establishment of the e-Verger joint venture between Warburg Pincus and Aegis plc, and the investments by Warburg Pincus in the Jordan Formula One racing team and in Grapes, the Italian/Spanish/Greek telecoms operator. In addition he has acted recently on the demutualisation and global offering of shares by AMP Limited, Australia's largest financial services company, the merger of Scottish Widows with Lloyds TSB and the acquisition of M&G plc by Prudential Plc.
