  • Prudential on the acquisition of a number of books of annuity business from Royal & Sun Alliance and Royal London;
  • Kontrakt Sofia on the sale of 70 per cent of DZI Insurance, Bulgaria's leader in life and non-life insurance, to KBC, the listed Belgium financial group;
  • Zurich Financial Services on the restructuring of its UK general insurance business by way of a Part VII portfolio transfer involving transfers from six UK companies and liabilities of approximately £1.8bn;and
  • IXIS Corporate & Investment Bank as arranger in the groundbreaking €200m securitisation of a portfolio of automobile insurance risks.
