Our Washington, DC-based antitrust practice is now the largest of any firm with European origins and, in order to provide the multijurisdictional antitrust expertise that has become increasingly critical in international deals, is fully integrated into what has been ranked as the premier global competition practice.
Our corporate practice focuses on multijurisdictional mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, while lawyers in our finance practice have extensive experience in structured finance, project finance, leveraged finance, institutional investment and capital markets.
Our New York based finance practice focuses predominately on work in infrastructure and energy project finance, structured finance, asset finance, acquisition and property finance and private placements. In addition to these specialized areas of expertise, we advise on a wide range of general finance and banking transactions.
Our litigation group is comprised of our sophisticated civil litigation, white collar defense and international arbitration practices. We represent public companies, financial institutions, foreign governments and other entities – as well as corporate executives and directors – in grand jury and enforcement investigations and in complex civil litigation and arbitrations.
