In addition to bank lending, we have one of the leading securitisation practices in Europe, having advised on many CMBS conduits and significant stand-alone CMBS transactions.
On real estate loans, whether being retained on balance sheet or originated with securitisation in mind, we have considerable experience advising various banks on their assets in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Our practice encompasses restructurings and workouts of these products and structures including Opco/Propco structures, and we have advised both lenders and borrowers on achieving successful outcomes from distressed situations.
What’s more, we appreciate the different ways that loan servicers approach current market conditions.
We also advise buyers and sellers of both individual non-performing loans (NPLs) and NPL portfolios, including options analyses, standstill arrangements, debtor/creditor negotiations, restructurings, insolvency and realisations.
