He replaces Ben Spiers, who served two terms as TMT co-head and recently assumed the position of co-head of London M&A. Laurent’s appointment is effective immediately and is for a four-year term.
Commenting on the appointment, Ted Burke, managing partner, says, ‘Laurent is an outstanding competition lawyer and boasts wide-ranging experience of advising clients in the TMT sector. This track record, combined with his leadership skills, make him ideally placed to work alongside Norbert to further enhance our reputation in the sector.’
Laurent added, ‘While the outlook for the global economy remains mixed, the TMT sector has continued to show resilience.
