Mandeep Lotay has been elected partner in our Amsterdam office, effective from 1 May 2012. Mandeep started his career at Freshfields in London in 2001 and has a broad practice advising financial institutions and companies on both banking and structured finance transactions.

The promotion of Mandeep to partner expands the firm's finance practice and builds upon the success over the past five years. During these years our practice has grown in all areas.  We added significant restructuring capacity with the appointment of counsel Michael Broeders and now we have doubled the partner capacity of our finance practice with the appointment of an English law qualified partner who has operated in the Dutch market with the firm for over eight years. This development greatly enhances our ability to offer our local and international clients, a finance capability that is both strong and international. Despite the challenging economic climate both locally and internationally, we expect further growth in our practice, especially, in the areas of banking and finance, structured finance and restructuring and insolvency.
