Our information technology (IT) practice covers both contentious and non-contentious matters and spans our international network.
On the contentious side, we’ve advised on disputes involving the interpretation, performance and termination of IT contracts; software copyright infringement; technology patent litigation; and disputes over systems procurement and outsourcing agreements.
Our non-contentious work includes advising on IT outsourcing; service supply arrangements; systems procurement; software licensing and distribution; software development; internet and e-commerce; data protection and privacy; encryption and electronic signatures; and export control.
We advise both IT suppliers and customers. This helps us understand the issues from both sides and gives us a strong basis on which to negotiate, implement and review agreements, and to advise on dispute resolution.
