We believe in honesty and
transparency in our reporting. Since 2008 all our Corporate
Responsibility (CR) reports have been externally assured.
Our
next step is to set up an external CR advisory board to advise us on our
approach to community investment and the environment, and provide
independent commentary on our CR performance. In line with best
practice, our community and pro bono data is measured using the London
Benchmarking Group (LBG) methodology. This is a credible framework to
assess the value and impact of our programmes to both business and
society.
We also use the Greenhouse Gas Protocol to understand,
quantify and manage greenhouse gas emissions. As signatories of the UN
Global Compact (UNGC), our CR report constitutes our annual
communication on progress against the UNGC’s ten principles on human
rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
