Metro AG is the world’s fourth largest retail company and the Makro UK Group is comprised of the operating and property companies for Metro’s cash & carry business in the UK. Booker and Metro have agreed to enter into a strategic partnership agreement which will enable competence sharing for mutual benefit and, as a result of Metro’s significant shareholding in Booker, the parties will enter into a relationship agreement to govern the shareholding.
