About Angus Scott

Angus is a corporate senior associate in our Global Transactions practice and part of our private capital group.

He has advised clients on public and private M&A transactions, management incentivisation and other corporate matters across a range of sectors. Angus' work often involves the firm's private capital clients and multinational corporates.

Angus trained at Freshfields and during his time here has spent 10 months on secondment to Cinven's legal team.

  • Advising Mars, Incorporated on the recommended acquisition of Hotel Chocolat Group plc, an AIM listed premium British chocolate maker.
  • Advising Deutsche Bahn on the sale of international transport business Arriva, including all of its operating businesses across 10 European markets to I Squared Capital, a leading global infrastructure investment manager.
  • Advising Cinven on the sale of Premium Credit, an industry leading provider of instalment finance solutions.
  • Advising Cinven on its exit from Visma, a leading providing of business critical software.
  • Advising Cinven on its acquisition of One.com, a leading European supplier of web hosting services.
  • Advising Pilgrim's Pride Corporation on its US$952m carve out acquisition of Kerry’s Meats and Meals business in the UK and Ireland.
  • Advising Warburg Pincus on its recommended cash offer for Inmarsat plc as part of a consortium alongside Apax, CPPIB and OTPP.
  • Advising Mars on its acquisition of AniCura, the European veterinary care business, marking Mars’ strategic entry into the European veterinary care sector.
  • Advising CVC and B2B skills provider QA on the acquisitions of Cloud Academy and Circus Street.
  • Advising First Reserve and M Group Services, a provider of essential infrastructure services, on the acquisitions of Meter-U and Magdalene.
