Legal consultants
If you are a Chinese law undergraduate, there are opportunities to join us in Beijing and Shanghai as a Legal Consultant. If you are a Chinese law graduate studying for an LLM at a reputable US law school and propose to take the New York bar, we have opportunities across all three offices as International Legal Consultants. All Legal Consultants and International Legal Consultants are considered for promotion to associate after working with us for two to three years, depending on your skills, experience and performance.
Legal Consultants and International Legal Consultants work closely with associates and partners on transactions. Regular tasks include due diligence, legal research and legal drafting. What’s more, we aim to involve all our legal consultants closely in the entire transaction. Working with us, you can expect to attend meetings with our associates and partners, deal direct with clients and other professionals, and be involved in managing and executing transactions from commencement to closure.
An induction course will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge you require to commence your career with us, and we host regular training courses and seminars.
We also offer sponsorship opportunities for Legal Consultants taking an LLM in the US, and secondment opportunities between the three China offices for Legal Consultants and International Legal Consultants.
