EU information officer (paralegal)

Function

You will have an active role in monitoring, identifying and keeping lawyers informed of any relevant legal development relating to EU competition issues. You will monitor the daily press and perform historic press searches. Whilst assisting fee earners in their research using various online databases, you will also be expected to draft a weekly internal competition law newsletter, which has to include a summary of European Court cases and other legal and policy developments.

Skills and experience

You have excellent academic credentials at undergraduate level in a university in Europe and/or are able to demonstrate prior professional experience as an information officer/paralegal.

Fluent in both written and spoken English, and with at least one other European language, you have a genuine interest in the international EU law field. Knowledge/experience of competition law and/or the European institutions would be an asset.
