Diversity and inclusion continue to grow in importance for our clients and for society as a whole, and we relish the opportunities we have both to work with our clients and to play our part in advancing diversity and inclusion in the wider world. We still have a great deal to do - but have taken some significant strides forward in recent years.

Key achievements in 2010

  • Launch of the ‘Strategic Excellence’ gender development programme.
  • Top placed Magic Circle firm in Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.
  • Launched comprehensive programme of back up care for all London employees.
  • Won Attorney General’s award for partnership with young people.
  • Launched our Multicultural network.
  • Introduced a series of cultural awareness talks – subjects to date have included ‘Demystifying Ramadan’ and ‘Demystifying the Jewish High Holidays’.
  • Ongoing participation in a number of widening participation programmes including Legal Launch Pad and Pure Potential (including hosting school age pupils and students on work placements).
