Intellectual property and information technology
Matthias specialises in various fields of IP law, in particular in patent and data protection law as well as IT-Outsourcing. In particular, Matthias advises clients in contentious patent litigation before all relevant German courts as well as in licence negotiations. His clients include, amongst others, companies active in the telecommunication and biotech industry.
Matthias completed his legal education at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and the University Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne. He served his legal traineeship (Referendariat) in Nuremberg, Speyer and Munich and attended a LL. M. program at Santa Clara University, CA, USA. Matthias is a member of the German Association of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
